We are an Arabic type design collective based in Cairo, that is interested in the synergy of our vernacular calligraphic culture and contemporary typographic needs. Our name is a reminder to keep that curious and enthusiastic child in you, exploring the vast universe of type with a smile on your face. Heheh Type was founded by Nour El Shamy, Shahd El Sabbagh and Manuel von Gebhardi in 2020.
